Chicago Master Singers' vision is to grow a culture of inclusive, intergenerational ensemble singing through extraordinary musical experiences that lift the human spirit. To support that vision, CMS created a new initiative in 2022 to share the joy of music with seniors in our local communities.
CMS singers have been pleased to share excerpts from our Christmas concerts and to engage in a group sing-along of favorite carols. Most recently, we visited residents at the Lutheran Home, Vi at the Glen, and Covenant Living. CMS members had a great time, and we received so much positive feedback from the seniors. We look forward to sharing many more joyous moments of music during future outreach events!
