Fall: Meditations

Experience beauty and peace in a program of contemplative works, featuring Frank Martin's Mass for Double Choir. The chorus will also perform works accompanied by pianist Lyudmila Lakisova. 

Pre-concert conversation at 6:45pm Saturday / 2:15pm Sunday, featuring Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor Mark Zelkowitz and Music Director John C. Hughes.

Christmas: Arise! Shine!
Saturday, December 7 at 7:30pm

Share the joy of the season with beloved CMS favorites by Charles Ives, Elizabeth Poston, John Rutter, and others, along with new discoveries by Eleanor Daley, Rosephanye Powell, Kevin Siegfried, and more. 
This performance will last approximately one hour and forty minutes,  including a 20-minute intermission. There is no pre-concert conversation.

NextGen: Jake Runestad
​Friday, February 21 at 7:30pm

Support the next generation of composers and singers as you meet composer Jake Runestad and hear a concert of his works featuring cello and piano, including Cello Songs and American Triptych. Other pieces will be performed by CMS with singers from Conant High School (Tim Koll, Director) and Glenbard West High School (Andrew Jeffrey, Director).

Season Finale: Brahms's Requiem
Saturday, May 17 at 7:30pm
​Sunday, May 18 at 3:00pm

Join us for a wonderful program to close the 2024-25 season, featuring Johannes Brahms's Requiem and Ola Gjeilo's Dark Night of the Soul. The chorus is joined by the Metropolis Symphony Orchestra and vocal soloists Katelyn Lee and Nicholas Miguel.

This performance will last approximately one hour and twenty minutes. ​
